Undana Comparative Study at FMIPA Unud, Focus on System Efficiency
Bukit Jimbaran, Friday, November 15, 2024 – In an effort to improve the quality of management of the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FST), Nusa Cendana University (Undana) conducted a comparative study visit to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University (Unud). This activity took place in the 4th Floor Meeting Room of the FMIPA Dean's Office, Bukit Jimbaran Campus on Friday, November 15, 2024.
The team from Undana consisting of the Head of General Affairs and Finance of the Faculty of Science and Engineering was welcomed directly by the Dean of FMIPA who was represented by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance of FMIPA Unud, Dr. I Made Sukadana, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, Head of Administration (KTU) of FMIPA, FMIPA Sub-Coordinators, and several educational staff.
This comparative study visit aims to explore more deeply the management system that has been implemented in FMIPA Unud. Several aspects that are the main focus are the management of general and academic services, management of supporting learning facilities and infrastructure, and office governance. By studying the best practices that have been implemented in FMIPA Unud, it is hoped that Undana can implement a more effective and efficient management system in its faculty environment.
In the meeting, the team from FMIPA Unud provided a presentation on various aspects of faculty management, starting from the lecture system, student services, to budget management. In addition, the Undana team also had the opportunity to discuss and ask questions directly to the Head of FMIPA UNUD. "We really appreciate the visit from Nusa Cendana University. Hopefully this activity can provide significant benefits for both parties," said the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance of FMIPA Unud, Dr. I Made Sukadana.
Meanwhile, representatives from the Undana team expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome from FMIPA Unud. "We hope to apply the knowledge we have gained from this comparative study to improve the quality of management at the Faculty of Science and Engineering Undana," he said. This comparative study visit is a form of good cooperation between the two universities. It is hoped that activities like this can continue to be carried out to share knowledge and experience, so that it can improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
