FMIPA Udayana University Celebrates 41st Anniversary & BK with Appreciation, Innovation, and Collaboration
Denpasar, Tuesday, July 1, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a celebration of its 41st Anniversary and BK in the Nusantara Room, Agrokompleks Building, Sudirman Campus of Udayana University. This activity took place lively by involving all academicians, alumni, and students from all study programs in the FMIPA environment. The event began at 07.00 WITA with morning exercise activities together which were enthusiastically followed by lecturers, education staff, and students. Afterwards, participants were directed to the Nusantara Room to attend the official opening of the event.
The opening session began with a performance of "Cakra Rangga Dance", prayer, and singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya, Udayana University Hymn, and the FMIPA March. The report of the Chairperson of the Committee by Mr. I Gede Santi Astawa, S.T., M.Cs., followed by remarks from the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., and remarks from the Rector of Udayana University represented by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation & Information, Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes., as well as officially opening the event by beating the gong.
As a form of gratitude, the tumpeng was cut by the Leadership and Invitations. The event then continued with an entertainment and award session that included Favorite Lecturer, Best Scientific Work, Favorite Education Staff, Best Profile Video and Product Video and Most Favorite Video by HIMA. The awards were presented directly by the leadership of FMIPA, namely the Dean and Vice Deans according to their respective categories.
After that, the event continued with the presentation of the AD/ART of Ikayana FMIPA by Mr. I Putu Satwika, S.Kom., M.Kom., and an inspiring alumni talk show hosted by Mrs. Ayu Jyostisya Yotirani Arya Wijana, S.Si., M.Si. Three alumni were present as speakers, sharing experiences and insights that inspired the students. As the closing of the series of activities, a performance entitled "Happy, Healthy, and Harmony" was held by each study program, showcasing the creativity of lecturers and students in the form of art and culture.
In addition to the main event, the 41st Anniversary & BK activities were also enlivened by an Innovation Product Exhibition from each Study Program which displayed the work, research, and innovation of students and lecturers. Not only that, a bazaar from various Student Associations (HIMA) also enlivened the atmosphere with various culinary stands and other creative products that attracted the attention of visitors. FMIPA Udayana University also expressed its deepest gratitude to the sponsors who have supported the implementation of this activity, namely BNI, BPD Bali, KPN, and Baliyoni.
The 41st Anniversary & BK event of FMIPA Udayana University is an important momentum to strengthen the relationship between academicians, appreciate the dedication of lecturers and education staff, and foster a spirit of work and innovation towards a superior and globally competitive FMIPA.
Sailing a boat in the morning,
The sky is bright, the heart is radiant.
FMIPA continues to excel,
At the age of 41, it is increasingly synergistic.
Mangosteen tastes sweet,
Eaten by many on a happy day.
