`

Bukit Jimbaran, Monday, October 28, 2024 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University (UNUD) held a workshop on participatory and collaborative class design. This event was opened by Dr. I Nengah Wirajana, Head of UP3M, and attended by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, and a number of lecturers representing study programs. The workshop aims to prepare courses that will be taught by practitioners from the industrial world, in line with the Main Performance Indicators (IKU)-4.

The resource person for this event, Putu Ratih Kumala Dewi, accompanied by moderator I.K Putra Juliantara, delivered material on Collaborative Class Design (RKK) and its registration procedures in the ministry system. In this workshop, participants were given important information regarding creating an account for registration, as well as the importance of establishing relationships with relevant practitioners. Collaborative classes are designed to integrate science with the business world, with certain provisions, such as the number of teaching hours and the number of students.

Although the workshop went well, several obstacles were identified, especially related to the registration time which was often close to the deadline. Therefore, careful planning and preparation are very important to ensure that the implementation of participatory and collaborative classes can run smoothly and effectively. The priority themes discussed in the workshop covered various fields, such as the digital economy, green economy, and tourism, which are expected to increase the relevance of education to industry needs.
