FMIPA Udayana University Participates in Intensive Workshop on Filling in LKE to Strengthen Integrity Zone

Jimbaran, Monday, October 7, 2024 - Udayana University (Unud) continues to strive to improve the quality of services and good governance. As a concrete step, Unud held a workshop on filling out the Integrity Zone Evaluation Worksheet (LKE) for nine faculties, one of which was the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA). This activity was held at the Platinum Hotel Jimbaran.


These nine faculties were selected based on their potential and commitment to building the Integrity Zone. This is expected to follow the success of the Faculty of Economics, Unud, in winning 3rd place nationally in the Integrity Zone category. "We hope that with this workshop, more faculties at Unud can achieve similar achievements," said the Chairperson of the Committee, Dr. I Wayan Gayun Widharma, S.E., M.Si. In her remarks, the Head of the Unud HR Bureau, Mrs. Ni Made Pertami Susilawati, S.E., M.M., emphasized the importance of filling out the LKE correctly and completely. "LKE is an important instrument to measure performance achievements and continuous improvement towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM)," he said.


The workshop was attended by two speakers, one of whom was Prof. Dr. nat. tech. Siswo Sumardiono, S.T., M.T., sharing the experience of the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University in achieving the Integrity Zone predicate. "Bureaucratic transformation must be based on data and supported by an effective system," he said. Meanwhile, Nelasari, S.K.M., M.K.M., from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, provided tips and tricks in building a culture of excellent service. "Quality public service will increase public trust in institutions," he said. This workshop also discussed the importance of supervisory management, service innovation, and complaint management. Participants were given the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas with the speakers.


It is hoped that with this workshop, the nine faculties can prepare themselves well to face the Integrity Zone assessment at the central level. Unud, especially FMIPA, is committed to continuing to strive to realize clean and transparent governance.
