FMIPA Udayana University International Accreditation Preparation Workshop 2024 Successfully Held
Bukit Jimbaran, Monday, November 11, 2024 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held an International Accreditation Workshop as a preparatory step to achieve international accreditation in the coming year. This event took place in the Lab Room 2, 3rd Floor, FMIPA UNUD Deanery and was attended by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih who also opened the workshop and was also attended by the vice deans, heads of study programs, and lecturers as participants.
This workshop presented competent speakers in their fields, namely Prof. Ir. Leni Sophia Heliani, S.T., M.Sc., D.Sc., Ipu, who shared their knowledge and experience related to the international accreditation process. The event was moderated by Apt. I Wayan Martadi Santika, M.Si, who is also a lecturer in the Pharmacy Study Program, FMIPA UNUD and a member of the faculty's quality assurance team.
In this workshop, participants were given a comprehensive presentation of the material, followed by a discussion and Q&A session, allowing participants to dig deeper into the accreditation process. In addition, there was also a presentation of certificates to the speakers as a form of appreciation for their contributions.
After the presentation session, Mrs. Dr. Aa Istri Ngurah Eka Karyawati, S.Si., M.Eng., provided technical guidance on accreditation preparation, which is expected to provide practical guidance for all participants. This activity was closed with a presentation of the follow-up plan by the Coordinator of the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Dr. I Nengah Wirajana, S.Si., M.Si.
With the success of this workshop, FMIPA Udayana University demonstrated its commitment in preparing itself to obtain international accreditation, which is expected to improve the quality of education and the reputation of the faculty at the global level.
