Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University Holds Preparations to Welcome Saraswati Day
Bukit Jimbaran, Friday, February 7, 2025 – In order to welcome Saraswati Day which falls on Saturday, February 8, 2025, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held preparations for a religious ceremony at Padmasana FMIPA. This activity involved the entire academic community, including the leadership of the dean, lecturers, staff, and students who participated in preparing various ceremonial facilities.
Since morning, the participants of the activity worked together in making and installing penjor, ceremonial banten, and other prayer facilities. This preparation was carried out as a form of gratitude and respect for Dewi Saraswati, who is believed to be the giver of knowledge.
"This spirit of mutual cooperation reflects the value of togetherness in maintaining tradition and respecting the knowledge that we learn, with the completion of these preparations, it is hoped that the implementation of Saraswati Day the next day can run smoothly and meaningfully for the entire academic community of FMIPA Udayana University.
