Educational Visit of State Senior High School 9 Bogor City to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University
Bukit Jimbaran, Friday, Pebruary 14, 2025 - A total of 50 students and 4 teachers from SMA Negeri 9 Kota Bogor conducted an educational visit to the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) of Udayana University. This visit aims to broaden students' horizons regarding higher education and provide direct experience regarding academic life at the university.
The activity which took place starting at 10.00 WITA and was located in the Dean's Building, 3rd Floor, Computer Lab 2, was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watininiasih as the Dean and accompanied by the faculty. The students had the opportunity to tour the campus, visit the laboratory, and discuss the various study programs offered.
Dewi Widianingsih, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the contact person from SMA Negeri 9 Kota Bogor, said that this visit was expected to motivate students to continue their education to a higher level. "We hope that this experience can broaden our horizons and motivate students to pursue their dreams in science and technology.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University also welcomed this visit. They hope to continue to collaborate with various schools to support the development of education in Indonesia.
The visit ended with an interactive Q&A session, where students could ask various questions related to campus life and career prospects in science. It is hoped that activities like this can inspire students in determining their study choices in the future.
