BKT Preparation Mentoring Meeting: FMIPA UNUD's Efforts to Improve the Quality of Education
Bukit Jimbaran, December 9, 2024 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University continues to be committed to improving the quality of education by improving the Single Tuition Fee (BKT) calculation system. The meeting held today at the FMIPA Dean's Building, 4th Floor, Meeting Room, was opened by the Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. I Made Sukadana, and attended by the Dean of FMIPA and all FMIPA Study Program Coordinators. This meeting intensively discussed the preparation of a more realistic BKT.
The main focus of the meeting was the preparation of BKT for postgraduate study programs (S2, S3, and profession), as well as adjustments to the latest findings in cost calculations. The resource person, A.A. Ngurah Agung Kresnandra, provided guidance on the preparation of BKT in accordance with applicable regulations, taking into account various aspects such as human resource (HR) costs, lecture facilities, practicum facilities, and building costs. several important points resulting from the meeting include standardization of HR cost calculations, adjustment of facility costs, the importance of data accuracy and equalization of international and regular BKT.
The long-term goal of compiling this BKT is to improve the quality of education, attract new students, and improve the faculty's reputation at the national and international levels. However, in the process of compiling it, the faculty faced several challenges, such as limited data and differences in perception among stakeholders. This meeting resulted in an agreement to compile BKT. to be used in determining UKT for both regular and international classes.
