Strengthening Quality Culture, Udayana University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Holds Training for Prospective AMI Auditors as part of the SPMI

Bukit Jimbaran, Monday, September 8, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a Training/Refresher Course for Prospective Internal Quality Audit (AMI) Auditors for the 2025 intake on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the 1st Floor of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Building, Jimbaran Campus. The event began at 9:00 a.m. and was attended by prospective AMI auditors from both lecturers and administrative staff within the FMIPA. The event began with participant registration at 8:30 a.m., followed by a report from the Head of UP3M and remarks from the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Dr. Ir. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya ER, S.Kom., M.Kom., who officially opened the event. Participants then took a pre-test to assess their initial understanding of internal quality audits.

The main topic was presented by Dr. apt. Ni Made Pitri Susanti, Farm., M.Sc., a LAMPTKes assessor and an activist at the SPMI-LP3M Udayana University, presented in the morning session on the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) to support the fulfillment of accreditation indicators. The session was moderated by Luh Putu Ida Harini, S.Sc., M.Sc., SPMI-UP3M Coordinator. After a lunch break, the session continued with hands-on training in the form of document audit and field audit simulations. These practical sessions were guided by key speakers and the UP3M FMIPA team, allowing participants to gain real-world experience with the procedures and mechanisms for implementing internal quality audits. Toward the end of the session, participants took a post-test to gauge their understanding of the training, and the UP3M Coordinator officially closed the session.

The training was attended by leaders, coordinators, and members of the SPMI-UP3M team, as well as lecturers from various study programs at FMIPA. Their presence reflects a shared commitment to strengthening quality culture, improving the competence of internal auditors, and supporting the implementation of risk-based quality assurance at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University.
