Strengthening Quality Culture, Udayana University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Holds Training for Prospective AMI Auditors as part of the SPMI

Bukit Jimbaran, Monday, September 8, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a Training/Refresher Course for Prospective Internal Quality Audit (AMI) Auditors for the 2025 intake on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the 1st Floor of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Building, Jimbaran Campus. The event took place from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM WITA and was attended by prospective AMI auditors from several lecturers from all study programs within the FMIPA Unud. The event began with participant registration at 8:30 AM, followed by a report from the UP3M Coordinator, Dr. I Nengah Wirajana, and remarks from the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Dr. Ir. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya ER, S.Kom., M.Kom., who officially opened the event. Participants then took a pre-test to gauge their initial understanding of AMI within the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI).

The main topic was presented by Apt. Dr. Ni Made Pitri Susanti, S.Farm., M.Sc., a LAMPTKes assessor and member of the SPMI-LP3M team at Udayana University. In the morning session, she presented on the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) to support the fulfillment of accreditation indicators. The session was moderated by Luh Putu Ida Harini, S.Sc., M.Sc., SPMI-UP3M Coordinator. After a lunch break, the activity continued with hands-on training in the form of document audit and field audit simulations. This practical session was guided by the UP3M Coordinator and resource persons from the SPMI-UP3M FMIPA team, allowing participants to gain real-world experience with the procedures and mechanisms for implementing internal quality audits. Toward the end of the event, participants took a post-test to gauge their understanding after the training. The training was officially closed by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning.

The training was attended by several study program coordinators, lecturers from various study programs at FMIPA, and members of the SPMI-UP3M team. Their presence reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the quality culture and improving the competency of prospective AMI auditors in supporting the implementation of SPMI at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University.
