The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University Academic Community Holds Joint Prayers for Piodalan and Saraswati Day

Bukit Jimbaran, Monday, September 8, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a series of activities to commemorate the holy month of Ramadan at Padmasana, coinciding with Saraswati Day. The activities began with a ceremony on Thursday, September 4, 2025, attended by the entire FMIPA academic community. A sense of camaraderie was evident as the academic community worked together to clean and organize the Parahyangan Padmasana area and the surrounding area in preparation for Saraswati Day.


The culmination of the activities was held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with a communal prayer service beginning at 11:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) at Parahyangan Padmasana, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University. The event was attended by faculty leaders, study program coordinators, lecturers, educational staff, and students of FMIPA Unud. The Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that this series of activities is not only part of a spiritual tradition but also strengthens the value of togetherness within the academic environment.


Through these preparations and joint prayers, the academic community prays for the blessings of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa so that all academic and non-academic activities at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) will always be blessed and run harmoniously. In the spirit of Saraswati Day, the FMIPA Unud family is expected to be even more steadfast in upholding cultural, spiritual, and scientific values as the foundation for realizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
