Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, Holds the First Day of PKKMB Prabu FMIPA 2025

Bukit Jimbaran, Wednesday, August 20, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held the first day of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) Prabu FMIPA 2025 on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the Widya Sabha Auditorium and each study program. The event ran from early morning until late afternoon, with a diverse agenda filled with values of togetherness, academics, and motivation.


The event began with an Opening Ceremony, which included an MC performance, a parade of invited guests, a traditional FMIPA dance, a prayer, and the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, the Udayana Hymn, and the FMIPA March. The event continued with a report from the committee chair and remarks from the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D. Next, new students were introduced to the faculty and study program leaders, accompanied by the Dean of FMIPA's badge-pinning ceremony. The event continued with presentations by the Dean and Vice Deans: Dr. Ir. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya ER, S.Kom., M.Kom.; Prof. Dr. Drs. I Made Sukadana, M.Si.; and Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., who also opened a discussion with new students.


In addition, new students received material on the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Higher Education Environment (PPKPT), a counseling session, and an introduction to the Udayana University Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Alumni Association (IKAMIPA), which provided an overview of alumni networks and contributions. A key moment was the handover ceremony for new students to their respective Study Program Coordinators (KPS), conducted directly by the Dean. Afterward, new students were directed to their study programs for an introduction to the study programs and lecturers, academic data verification in SIMAK/PDDIKTI Feeder, and completion of the Study Plan (KRS).


The first day of the 2025 Prabu FMIPA PKKMB concluded with an evaluation and a group cleanup. Through this busy and meaningful series of events, it is hoped that new students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Udayana University will be better prepared to adapt to the campus environment, get to know their lecturers and study programs, and develop a sense of pride in being part of the extended FMIPA family.
