"Development and Management Business Unit at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University"

Bukit Jimbaran, Thursday, March 28 2024, Meeting chaired directly by Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, as Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, located in the FMIPA Dean's Building, Floor 3 (Computer Lab 2) aims to evaluate and improve business unit services in the faculty. The meeting discussion was started by Dr. I Made Sukadana, as Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, who explained the development and legal basis of existing business units as well as current revenue achievements. The discussion also included plans to provide services and rates that could be regulated for each business unit, while introducing the existence of around 7 business units in the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty. Apart from that, plans for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all business units in the future were also explained.


Also present at this meeting were Ni Made Widi Astuti, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt. As (Chair of the FMIPA Business Unit), accompanied by I Gede Santi Astawa, S.T., M.Cs. whose position is (Secretary of the FMIPA Business Unit), as well as Study Program Coordinators and Laboratory Chairs within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. This discussion was carried out with the aim of equalizing perceptions regarding journal house business unit services and study program service laboratories, so that they can support the needs and performance of each study program and the faculty as a whole.


Presentation from Dr. I Made Sukadana underlined the importance of developing business units owned by faculties, both in terms of legal basis and management, so that they can develop more advanced in the future. Apart from that, a little guidance from the Dean, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih also said that each study program is expected to have its own business unit, which, although it may still be small, is expected to make a significant contribution to the fulfillment of services in each study program.
