Campus Roadshow Activities "AMD Classroom" at Udayana University: Discussing Creativity and Latest Technology

Denpasar, 5 June 2024 - Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) Udayana University today held a campus roadshow entitled "AMD Classroom" with the theme "Beyond Limits with AMD, Laptop Processors for the Most Productive Young People". This event took place in the Nusantara room, Agrokompleks Building, Sudirman Campus.

The first speech and opening of the Roadshow event was delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., followed by the Deputy Deans and continued with remarks from the Chair of the AMD Campus Classroom Committee, Mr. Supriyana, the Study Program Coordinators and the Head of Administration and Sub-Coordinators. Then continued by Ms Anna Ihfiana as Indonesia Marketing Lead, Mas Donnie Brahmandika as Retail and Product Enablement Manager AMD Indonesia, Mr Franky Widjaja as Country Manager Rapoo Indonesia were also present.

In her speech, the Dean expressed her gratitude to Ida Sanghyang Widhi Wasa/God Almighty because thanks to His grace this event could be held well. He also expressed his appreciation to all parties who had contributed to organizing this event, especially the teams from AMD Indonesia and Rapoo Indonesia.

"AMD Classroom" is a sharing session and discussion program with expert speakers in the fields of creativity and the latest technology. The aim of this activity is to provide insight and knowledge to participants, especially students, regarding the latest developments in the world of technology and how to utilize this technology to increase productivity.

This event, which was held offline, was attended by 150 participants from three study programs at FMIPA, namely the Informatics Study Program, Mathematics Study Program and Physics Study Program. These three study programs require special computer equipment specifications to support their lecture activities. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in each session. They get the opportunity to discuss directly with experts and gain new knowledge which is very beneficial for their academic and professional development in the future. By the end of this event, it is hoped that the participants will be able to apply the knowledge and insight they have gained to encourage creativity and innovation in the field of technology, as well as becoming a productive and highly competitive young generation.
