"40 Years of Excellence: FMIPA Unud Showcases Achievements at BK and Science Fest 2024"

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University has successfully held a special event commemorating the 40th anniversary of their Family Association (BK) along with the Science Fest on Monday, July 1, 2024. The event, themed "Togetherness Is the Key to FMIPA's Excellence and Glory," was held grandly at the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Bukit Jimbaran Campus, starting at 07:00 WITA until completion.

The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector 3 of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T., Ph.D., representing the Rector who was unable to attend due to other commitments. Also present at the event were the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, along with other university and faculty leaders. The entire academic community of FMIPA participated, including vice deans, coordinators of undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and professional study programs, unit coordinators, as well as student representatives from the Student Executive Board (BEM) and Student Representative Council (DPM).

The event preparations, involving all elements of FMIPA, reflected the spirit of togetherness that is at the core of the celebration's theme. The series of events for the 40th BK and Science Fest not only showcased FMIPA's achievements and excellence in science and mathematics but also served as a platform to strengthen the bonds among the academic community.

In their speeches, both the Vice Rector and the Dean of FMIPA emphasized the importance of this moment as a reflection on the faculty's achievements over the past four decades. They also underlined the crucial role of togetherness in building FMIPA's excellence and glory, in line with the event's theme.

The Science Fest, an integral part of the celebration, featured various innovations and latest research from FMIPA students and lecturers. This exhibition not only showcased the faculty's excellence but also served as an inspiration for the younger generation to continue creating in the fields of science and mathematics.

This event is expected to become an important momentum for FMIPA Unud, not only to celebrate past achievements but also to spur the spirit of the entire academic community to continue innovating, collaborating, and achieving even greater accomplishments in the future.
