“Udayana University FMIPA Physics Study Program Receiving an Academic Visit from Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University"

Bukit Jimbaran, Monday 24 June 2024 In order to strengthen ties and explore potential cooperation, the Physics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Udayana University received a delegation from the Physics Department, Faculty of Science and Technology, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University.

The team of eight members from Sunan Kalijaga, led by Anis Yuniati, M.Si., Ph.D., was warmly received by Dr. Wayan Gede Suharta, M.Si, Coordinator of the Udayana Physics Department, in the Senate Meeting Room, 4th Floor, FMIPA Building at 09:30 WIB.

During the meeting, both parties expressed their enthusiasm for the potential for collaboration in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely a program that aims to increase academic excellence, research and community service. Anis Yuniati, M.Sc., Ph.D, hopes that this visit can mark the beginning of a fruitful partnership between the two institutions, including the possibility of a student exchange program to study medical physics.

The meeting ended with an exchange of souvenirs and a group photo session to commemorate the event. It is hoped that this academic visit will pave the way for research collaboration and joint community service projects between the two universities in the future.
