Workshop on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum – Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University (2026)
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University held the 2026 Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum Workshop on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. The event took place at the Ruang Bangsa (Nation Room) in the Udayana University Rectorate Building at the Bukit Jimbaran Campus, with additional participation via Zoom.
This event represents a strategic move by FMIPA UNUD to strengthen the implementation of an outcome-based curriculum, specifically by reinforcing "constructive alignment" across Program Learning Outcomes (CPL), Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK), Sub-Course Learning Outcomes (Sub-CPMK), learning strategies, and outcome-based assessments. The workshop featured Prof. Prihandoko, S.Kom., M.IT., Ph.D. from Gunadarma University as the first speaker and Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Setiawan, M.T. from Udayana University as the second speaker. Topics covered included OBE curriculum design, Case-Based Learning (CBL), Project-Based Learning (PBL), assessment rubrics, evidence documentation, and the optimization of the SIMAK OBE IMISSU system.
The event was attended by 92 participants in person and 110 lecturers online, comprising faculty leadership, study program administrators, unit heads, quality assurance teams, and lecturer representatives from various study programs within FMIPA UNUD. Through this initiative, FMIPA UNUD is committed to fostering learning that is increasingly measurable, high-quality, and sustainable by implementing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to support readiness for national and international accreditation.
