Udayana University Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Dean's Meeting 2025: Monitoring Student Aspirations for Faculty Advancement

Denpasar, Friday, August 1, 2025 – The Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University successfully held the 2025 FMIPA Dean's Meeting with the theme "From Students to FMIPA: Monitoring Aspirations to Realize Solutions." The event, which began at 8:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time) on the Faculty grounds, served as a forum for conveying student aspirations and evaluating the dean's performance.


The event was attended by the Dean of FMIPA, Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Student Affairs Advisors, all Heads of Student Organizations, and active student representatives. The committee chair, I Gede Rama Yasa Mahendra, stated that the Dean's Meeting had been carefully prepared for five months by 54 members of the committee and was expected to yield constructive solutions for the faculty's development. The Deputy Chair of DPM, I Made Gede Aryadana Baraja Putra, expressed his appreciation for the event, which served as an effective communication bridge between students and the dean. Meanwhile, the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., emphasized the importance of this event as a moment for evaluation and open dialogue to support performance improvements and strategic policy-making for the faculty.


During the forum, various student aspirations related to strengthening academic and student affairs, administration, improving facilities and infrastructure, and optimizing information dissemination were gathered and intensively discussed. The Dean's Office also presented recent achievements as a demonstration of transparency in faculty management. The event, hosted by Master of Ceremonies Dika and moderated by Bryan, proceeded smoothly and with high enthusiasm from all participants. The signing of the minutes by the Committee Chair and all Student Body Chairs, witnessed by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, concluded the series of activities, symbolizing the commitment to collaboration between students and faculty management.
