Bukit Jimbaran, Wednesday, June 25, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University welcomed the visit of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) of UIN KH. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan in the context of implementing a Joint Seminar entitled "Synergy of Mathematics, Culture, and Technology Towards 21st Century Learning", which took place at the FMIPA Udayana University environment.

This event is the result of a collaboration between the Informatics Study Program, FMIPA, Udayana University and the Mathematics Education Study Program, FTIK, UIN KH. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan. The FTIK group was led by the Head of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Mrs. Santika Lya Diah Pramesti, M.Pd, and was warmly welcomed by the leadership of FMIPA, namely the Dean Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Coordinator of Informatics Study Program, Coordinator of UPIKS FMIPA, and lecturers of Informatics Study Program.

In her speech, the Dean of FMIPA Udayana University emphasized the importance of establishing synergy across institutions and disciplines, and encouraged this collaboration not to stop at seminars alone, but to be continued in various forms of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi activities such as joint research, community service, student internship programs, and lecturer exchanges as speakers.

This seminar presented three inspiring speakers, namely Dr. Ir. I Ketut Gede Suhartana, S.Kom., M.Kom., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., Ir. Agus Muliantara, S.Kom., M.Kom., and Nurul Husnah Mustika Sari, M.Pd. The three of them shared insights related to the integration of mathematics and informatics in the context of technological developments and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as its relevance in supporting the 21st century learning process.

Through this activity, it is hoped that various forms of broader and more sustainable cooperation will emerge in the development of science and improving the quality of education in both institutions.
