Second Day of LAMSAMA Field Assessment: Facility Visit, Independent Work, and Closing of the Assessment of the Undergraduate Chemistry Study Program, FMIPA, Udayana University
Bukit Jimbaran, June 13, 2025 – Field Assessment for the accreditation of the Chemistry Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Udayana University by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA) officially entered its second and final day on Friday (6/13). The activities focused on reviewing facilities and infrastructure, independent work of the assessor team, as well as the delivery of assessment results and official closing.
In the morning session, the Assessor Team consisting of Prof. Dr. Didik Prasetyoko, S.Si., M.Sc. and Prof. Dr. Dwi Hudiyanti, M.Sc. carried out independent work by the assessor team, where they conducted further analysis of the documents that had been confirmed the previous day. In this session, the assessors compiled evaluation notes and recommendations for the development of the quality of the Chemistry Undergraduate Study Program in the future. After the break, the assessor team made direct visits to various supporting facilities for academic activities in the FMIPA environment of Udayana University. The facilities visited included educational and research laboratories, libraries, and student activity areas. During the visit, the assessor team had a direct dialogue with the facility managers to see how the facilities were utilized in the teaching and learning process.
After the facility visit, the activity continued to the field assessment results delivery session. In this session, the assessor team provided initial feedback regarding the strengths and areas that could still be improved by the study program. The assessor team appreciated the commitment of the academic community in maintaining the quality of education and the readiness of the facilities and management systems of the study program. The activity was officially closed by the Dean of FMIPA Udayana University. In his remarks, he expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the presence and constructive input from the assessor team.
With the end of this field assessment, the Chemistry Undergraduate Study Program hopes to achieve the best accreditation results as a form of commitment to providing quality education to students and the wider community.
