Opening Growth Class Udayana 2025
Bukit Jimbaran, Saturday, June 7, 2025 - Held at the Lecture Building of Udayana University, the Opening Growth Class Udayana 2025 was officially held. This event is a flagship work program of BEM FMIPA Udayana University initiated by the Communication and Information Division, and is one of the national seminars that focuses on student self-development through the theme "Empowering Personal Branding for a Digital Driven Future."
This activity was carried out in a hybrid manner, combining online and offline concepts, and was attended by more than 100 national participants and students from the 2024 batch of FMIPA UNUD. This Growth Class not only introduced the importance of personal branding, but also equipped participants with digital skills that are now one of the keys to success in the professional world.
In the Growth Class, participants are guided through various materials that discuss strategies for compiling a professional CV, developing and optimizing LinkedIn profiles, and how to channel creativity in digital design. In addition, participants also get the opportunity to review and present their final projects in the form of portfolios, while honing their public speaking skills which are essential in the world of work.
Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D. expressed her appreciation for this activity. She said that Growth Class 2025 is very useful, especially for early semester students in building self-confidence and introducing their competencies to the outside world. He also added, "This activity is very positive from the preparation of the committee, it can also be seen that the event has been very well organized and conducive.
The Head of DPM FMIPA, Wulan Kusuma Dewi also expressed her opinion regarding this activity. She stated that this year's implementation felt much more organized than before. She also said that in terms of the material according to the theme, the event was exciting, and the speakers were very relevant to today's era.
The Head of BEM FMIPA UNUD, Agus Adi Putra also said that Growth Class is one of the programs that is expected to have a broad impact, not only for FMIPA but also for students throughout Indonesia. He also said that hopefully Growth Class will be the first step for students in building a strong and useful self-branding in the world of work later.
The Head of the Udayana 2025 Growth Class Committee, Vayu Ramiswara, said that the enthusiasm of the participants and committee was very much felt, especially during the interactive and lively offline session. He acknowledged that the challenges of implementing hybrid and national scale were quite large, but could be overcome thanks to teamwork and support from various parties. He hopes that Growth Class will be better in the future and have a real impact on building personal branding of students.
Growth Class speaker, Yudist Ardhana said that he was happy to be involved in the Growth Class event. He also said that the event was interesting, the participants were active and the committee was very enthusiastic. He hopes that what he conveyed can be useful for them in the future.
Growth Class speaker, Epa Jayantika expressed his appreciation for this activity. He expressed his pride in being able to return to Udayana and share his experiences. He said that the participants were very enthusiastic, especially when practicing public speaking. He was very proud to be able to share and see their enthusiasm.
One of the Growth Class participants, Dewa Ary, conveyed his impressions and messages regarding the Growth Class event that he realized that so far his personal branding on social media had not been worked on properly. According to him, this Growth Class is a turning point that opens up new perspectives. With a collaborative approach, applicable materials, and structured implementation, he called the Opening Growth Class Udayana 2025 a very appropriate place to hone potential and prepare oneself to face the increasingly competitive digital work world.
