SCHOLARSHIP TO AUSTRIA: ERNST MACH GRANT 2027/2028 

Hello Unud Academic Community!

The Unud Office of International Affairs (KUI Unud) announces the opening of the Ernst Mach Grant – ASEA-UNINET scholarship from the Austrian Government for Unud lecturers, researchers, administrative staff, and students.

Program Options & Funding:

- Full PhD: Full doctoral studies (up to 36 months) | Stipend: €1,600/month.

- Postdoc: Postdoctoral research (4–6 months) | Stipend: €1,300/month.

- Music Practice: Music practice (9 months) | Stipend: €1,300/month.

- All programs include a travel allowance subsidy of up to €1,200.

Key Requirements:

- Open to all fields of study.

- Must obtain a Letter of Invitation from a professor at a partner university in Austria (specifically for PhD & Postdoc).

- Proficiency in English (min. B2 level) or German.

Important Timeline:

- Online registration via grants.at opens on September 15, 2026.

- Deadline for Music Category: December 15, 2026.

- Deadline for PhD & Postdoc Categories: March 1, 2027.
