FMIPA and BAPETEN Sign the Cooperation Paper for 2022

FMIPA and BAPETEN do the signing of the cooperation document Wednesday, June 15 20222, at the Postgraduate Building of Udayana University, Jl PB Sudirman Denpasar, Udayana University signed a cooperation document (MOU) with the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (BAPETEN) of the Republic of Indonesia which will be valid for 5 years. The signatories of this MOU are the Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I NYOMAN GDE ANTARA, M.Eng., IPU., with the Acting Head of the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency, Ir. SUGENG SUMBARJO, M.Eng. The scope of the MOU collaboration between BAPETEN and Udayana University is: 1. Development of human resources through education and training; 2. Empowerment of expertise; 3. Exchange of scientific data and information; 4. Scientific studies/research in order to support nuclear control; 5. Cooperation related to the development of the regulatory framework; 6. Community service consisting of information dissemination and public consultation; 7. Dissemination of regulatory products; and 8. Shared use of facilities and infrastructure in technical activities and holding scientific meetings. Furthermore, as a follow-up to the MOU, FMIPA represented by the Dean of FMIPA Udayana University Dra. NI LUH WATINIASIH, M.Sc., Ph.D. and representatives of BAPETEN Ir. SUGENG SUMBARJO, M.Eng. also carry out the signing of PKS (Cooperation Agreement) which has the following scopes: 1. Development and implementation of nuclear human resource competency improvement programs; 2. Empowerment of expertise; 3. Exchange of scientific data and information; 4. Research, development and assessment in the field of nuclear control; 5. Community service in the form of information dissemination and public education/consultation; and 6. Shared use of facilities and infrastructure. The Chancellor of Udayana University expressed his gratitude for the implementation of the MOU and PKS, and hopes that the signing of this MOU and PKS can be a mutually beneficial collaboration for both Udayana University and BAPETEN.
