Workshop and Lecture Series on Low-Cost and DIY Sensing Platforms for Food, Environment, and Bioresource Analysis

Kuta, Sunday, October 12th - Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, in collaboration with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University, Brawijaya University, and the Bali Health Polytechnic, held a Workshop and Lecture Series on Low-Cost and DIY Sensing Platforms for Food, Environment, and Bioresource Analysis. This workshop took place at the Denpasar Ballroom, The Patra Bali Resort and Villas, Kuta, Badung, on Sunday, October 12th, 2025. The workshop utilized a DIY (Do It Yourself) system, emphasizing the use of readily available tools and materials, enabling chemical analysis to be performed inexpensively and with simple equipment.

The workshop was attended by 50 participants, including lecturers, PLPs, and students from the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University, Bogor Agricultural University, Brawijaya University, and Denpasar Health Polytechnic. In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University, Prof. In her remarks, Ni Luh Watiniasih stated that this activity was very beneficial and hoped that it could be continued through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University and the Faculty of Science of Mahidol University, so that it could contribute to lecturers and students in implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education. This activity is part of a series of the International Conference on Flow Analysis, in parallel with the 12th Asia Pacific Symposium on Ion Analysis, which will take place on October 13-16, 2025.
