Visit of HIMATIKA Yogyakarta University of Technology to HIMAIF FMIPA Udayana University: Collaboration and Innovation in the Machine Learning Era
Bukit Jimbaran, Wednesday, July 9, 2025 - The Informatics Student Association (HIMAIF), Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, warmly welcomed a visit from the Informatics Student Association (HIMATIKA), Faculty of Science and Technology, Yogyakarta University of Technology (UTY). Fifty students and one accompanying lecturer attended the event, held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Dean's Building, Jimbaran Campus, Udayana University, Bali.
The event began with an opening session and remarks from both institutions, followed by a Public Lecture entitled "Implementing Machine Learning to Mobile Web." Participants gained first-hand insight into the basic concepts of machine learning, system architecture, frameworks, and real-world case studies from the industrial world.
The event also featured an interactive discussion session that opened up opportunities for questions and answers and consultations on the latest research and technology development. Through this visit, UTY students are expected to broaden their understanding of modern technology, particularly in integrating machine learning with web and mobile applications.
The event also included a souvenir exchange ceremony and joint documentation as a token of appreciation and the beginning of closer collaboration in the future.
