Udayana University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Holds Musrenbang for Fiscal Year 2027, Strengthening Performance-Based Planning and KPI Achievements
Denpasar, July 15, 2026 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held the Planning and Development Conference (Musrenbang) for the 2027 Fiscal Year on Wednesday (July 15, 2026) in Lecture Room 205 of the MIPA Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. This event served as a strategic forum for developing performance-based programs and budgets to guide the implementation of Faculty activities in the 2027 fiscal year.
The Musrenbang was led by the Dean of FMIPA, Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., and attended by Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Heads of Business Units, Administrative Coordinators, and academic staff within the Faculty. This forum served as a coordination forum to align program planning with university policy directions and faculty performance targets.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences emphasized the importance of developing programs oriented towards achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI), accompanied by a comprehensive evaluation of the previous year's program implementation. He hoped that all units and study programs would strengthen synergy and collaboration so that the KPI targets would not only be achieved but also surpass those set by Udayana University.
The main agenda of the Musrenbang included the preparation of the Performance-Based Program and Budget for Fiscal Year 2027, the evaluation of program implementation and the 2026 budget, and the alignment of programs with the KPI, KKK, and IKP. The discussion also emphasized the importance of performance management, starting from planning, implementation, measurement, and evaluation of results as the basis for developing effective and accountable programs.
Furthermore, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences provided several strategic directions to all study programs, including improving KPI achievement through strengthening collaboration, enhancing student achievement, developing scientific publications based on Expertise Groups (KBK), enhancing lecturer competency, and optimizing alumni tracer study submissions. The event also provided information regarding the allocation of indicative budget allocations to each study program as a reference for the preparation of the 2027 Fiscal Year work plan.
Through this Musrenbang (Regional Development Planning Forum), the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University is committed to continuously strengthening transparent, effective, and results-oriented planning governance. Thorough planning is expected to support improvements in the quality of education, research, and community service, as well as the achievement of performance indicators that impact the faculty, the university, and the wider community.
