Udayana Mathematics Guest Lecture: Transforming Data into Strategic Decisions in the AI ??Era

The Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Udayana University, successfully held a guest lecture titled "Data Analytics for Strategic Decision-Making: The Role of Data Analytics in the Modern Industrial World" on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time), in Computer Laboratory 2, 3rd Floor of the FMIPA Dean's Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus.

This event featured Gde Palguna Reganata, S.Si., M.Si., who shared insights on the importance of data analytics in supporting accurate and strategic decision-making in the modern industrial world.

Through this guest lecture, students were encouraged to understand the expanding career opportunities for Mathematics graduates in the era of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Mathematicians are required not only to be able to process data but also to understand and explain the story behind the data to produce solutions with real impact.
