Bukit Jimbaran, September 26, 2025 - This time, a proud achievement comes from students from the Chemistry Study Program at Udayana University who have been selected for the 2025 PKM-RE funding scheme from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendiktisaintek RI).

This team put forward a creative idea by researching a microbial consortium in ceremonial waste compost that can degrade cellulose and help produce biopesticides. The team consists of Putu Savitri Satyarani as Chair and Novia Permata Sari, Ni Putu Novi Aristyani, Rahma Putri Rahayu, and Sheila Alisya Zakianti as members.

This innovation is a response to the increasingly abundant ceremonial waste in Bali and offers an alternative for healthy and sustainable agriculture.
