The Udayana University Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Senate Holds a Meeting to Discuss Faculty Development and Lecturers' Academic Careers

Jimbaran, July 9, 2026 — The Senate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a Faculty Senate Meeting in Lab Room 2, 3rd Floor, FMIPA, Udayana University, Jimbaran Campus.

Chaired by the Chair of the FMIPA Senate, Prof. Dr. Komang Dharmawan, the meeting served as a strategic forum for discussing various important agendas to support the improvement of academic quality and the future development of the FMIPA institution.

The main agenda of the meeting included discussing and providing consideration for the approval of promotions for lecturers, as well as discussing the proposed name change of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) to the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST).

Through discussions with senate members, this activity demonstrated the FMIPA's commitment to strengthening academic governance, improving the quality of human resources, and adapting to developments in science and technology.

The FMIPA Senate Meeting is expected to produce strategic decisions and recommendations to support the faculty's progress towards becoming an increasingly superior, innovative, and impactful institution.
