The Udayana Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UP3M Coordination Meeting Discussed Strengthening Quality Assurance and Preparation for the 2026 AMI (Academic Student Association).

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a Coordination Meeting of the Learning Development and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M) on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, on the first floor of the FMIPA Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. The meeting, which took place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time), was attended by the dean's office, the UP3M team, and the Quality Assurance Implementation Teams (TPPM) of study programs within FMIPA.

The meeting discussed several strategic agenda items related to strengthening the quality assurance system, including coordination of UP3M job descriptions, the formation of a team to prepare monitoring and evaluation (monev) reports for learning and Tridharma services, planning for the 2026 Internal Quality Audit (AMI), and follow-up actions to the findings of the previous AMI.

The meeting outlined the division of duties and functions of UP3M and TPPM study programs to strengthen the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) and External Quality Assurance System (SPME). Furthermore, each study program is required to compile periodic learning monitoring and evaluation reports each semester as part of the implementation of PPEPP (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement).

UP3M also emphasized the importance of compiling a report on the Tridharma service overview, including education, research, community service, infrastructure, and alumni tracer studies, as part of ongoing quality evaluation at the faculty and study program levels.

In the 2026 AMI planning agenda, it was agreed that the audit would be conducted in the third quarter, approximately August–September 2026. Auditor preparation, revision of AMI instruments to the latest LAM standards, and auditor refresher training were also key areas of focus at the meeting.

Furthermore, the meeting also discussed control reports and standard improvement based on the findings of the previous year's AMI. Various follow-up plans were developed to improve the quality of governance, learning, human resources, infrastructure, research, community service, and the implementation of the OBE system within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Udayana University.

Through this coordination meeting, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University hopes that all units and study programs can strengthen synergy in maintaining and improving academic quality in a sustainable manner towards superior and quality higher education governance.
