The Indonesian Chemical Society (HKI) successfully held the International Conference of the Indonesian Chemical Society (ICICS)
Kuta, Bali Thursday, October 24, 2024 – The Indonesian Chemical Society (HKI) successfully held the International Conference of the Indonesian Chemical Society (ICICS) on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at The Patra Bali Resort & Villas, Tuban, Kuta. This event was officially opened by the Vice Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation & Information of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes. which was marked by the beating of the gong.
The opening of the event was enlivened by the performance of the Merak Angelo Dance performed by students of the Chemistry Department, FMIPA, Udayana University, which received a warm welcome from all participants.
In this conference, a number of prominent keynote speakers were present, including:
Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Nurdin, M.Sc., IPU., ASEAN Eng. from Halu Oleo University and Head of the HKI Center.
Prof. Tsuyoshi Imai from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering Yamaguchi University, Japan.
Prof. Xuwen Li from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China.
Prof. Chun Chen Yang from Ming Chi University of Technology, Taiwan.
Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kanjibhai Patel from Department of Biosciences, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, India.
Prof. Kim Hoong Ng from Ming Chi University of Technology, Taiwan.
Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putra Manuaba from Udayana University, Indonesia.
Prof. Kyubong Jo from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea.
After the keynote speaker session, the event continued with parallel classes featuring presentations from invited speakers and participants, which showed high enthusiasm from all those present.
The conference was also sponsored by several companies, including PT Buchi Indonesia, PT Dwi Mitra Mandiri Sampurno, PT Hitachi High Tech Indonesia, and PT Wiralab Analitika Solusindo, which contributed to the success of the event.
