The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Mulawarman University Conducts a Visit and Gathering with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University

Bukit Jimbaran, Friday, November 7, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University received a visit from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Mulawarman University, led by the Dean of FMIPA Mulawarman University. The visit took place in the FMIPA Meeting Room, Bukit Jimbaran Campus, Badung, Bali. The visit was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FMIPA Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., along with faculty leaders, study program coordinators, lecturers, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences' (UPIKS) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA).

In her remarks, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed her appreciation for the visit and emphasized the importance of synergy between FMIPA faculties in Indonesia to strengthen collaboration in education, research, and community service. "Through this meeting, we hope to share best practices in academic management and encourage cross-university research collaboration," she said.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Mulawarman University, Dr. Dra. Hj. Ratna Kusuma, M.Sc., stated that the purpose of the visit was to strengthen institutional relations and benchmark faculty governance, study program management, and joint research and publications. The agenda included a profile presentation of each faculty and an interactive discussion. The two parties also discussed concrete collaboration opportunities in the areas of joint research, faculty and student exchanges, and collaborative community service activities.

The visit concluded with a group photo and the presentation of plaques as a symbol of friendship and hope for continued cooperation between the two faculties. Through this activity, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Mulawarman University are committed to continuing to strengthen academic collaboration, research, and innovation in the sciences for the advancement of higher education in Indonesia.
