Evening, August 10, 2025 - A Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) production training was held with the 59-member Petang Village Women's Farmers Group (KWT Swadaya Putri) on Sunday, August 10, 2025. This activity represents a concrete effort to cultivate the potential of local coconuts to create added value as natural health and beauty products.

This activity was also supported by students participating in the Community Service Program (KKN) in Petang Village. In addition to the training, KWT Swadaya Putri received VCO production equipment, including a coconut grater, a coconut milk press, fermentation containers, filters, and bottles. This equipment was provided to ensure a sustainable production process.

Through this activity, KWT members' skills in processing coconuts into VCO have been further enhanced. The training also opens up new business opportunities based on natural health and beauty products, strengthens production equipment support, and expands the marketing of local products with high economic value. Ultimately, this activity supports the independence and empowerment of women in Petang Village.

The VCO produced will continue to be developed by the Swadaya Putri Women's Farmers Group (KWT Swadaya Putri) and is planned to be presented at the 2026 Mangupura Awards as a concrete manifestation of innovation and village community empowerment.
