Informatics Students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, Hold a Community Service Action at Sekeh Beach

Badung, Friday, July 25, 2025 — As a concrete demonstration of environmental concern, the Informatics Student Association (HIMAIF) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a social service activity (Baksos) titled "Beach Clean Up" on Friday morning, July 25, 2025. The activity took place at Sekeh Beach, Tuban, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.


Embracing the spirit of social contribution and environmental preservation, this activity is part of HIMAIF's annual work program. The activity, which began at 7:15 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time), was attended by students, lecturers, and representatives from the Sekeh Beach management. The main focus of this social action was cleaning up trash scattered around the beach area as an effort to preserve the coastal ecosystem.


The Head of HIMAIF, Putu Ananda Darma Wiguna, stated that this activity aims to foster environmental awareness and increase student awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean environment. "We hope this small action can spark collective awareness about protecting the environment, especially coastal areas that are vulnerable to pollution," he said.


The entire series of activities proceeded in an orderly and enthusiastic manner. Through this action, the Student Association of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (HIMAIF) of Udayana University hopes to instill social values, solidarity, and a love of nature among students.
