Healthy Children Movement: Introducing Young Pharmacists and Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors for Students of SD Negeri 1 Nyitdah
Tabanan, June 6, 2026 – Students and lecturers from the Master of Pharmacy Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, conducted a community service activity titled "Healthy Children's Movement: Introducing Young Pharmacists and Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS)" at Nyitdah 1 Elementary School, Tabanan Regency.
This activity aimed to increase health awareness from an early age through education about the pharmacist profession, the correct use of medications, and the importance of implementing Clean and Healthy Living Behaviors (PHBS). The material was delivered interactively through presentations, educational games, handwashing demonstrations, and a question-and-answer session that involved active student participation.
In addition to learning about the role of pharmacists in maintaining public health, students also gained an understanding of the importance of maintaining personal and environmental hygiene, consuming nutritious foods, and adopting a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives.
The activity was enthusiastically attended and received appreciation from the school. Through this program, Udayana University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences hopes to improve health literacy from an early age and encourage the development of a healthy, intelligent, and character-based generation.
