Guest Lecture: Advancing Informatics Research in the Age of Digital Transformation

Denpasar, Saturday, November 15, 2025 - The Master of Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Udayana University, once again held a Guest Lecture, open to the public. The event took place from 9:00 a.m. Central Indonesian Time (WITA) until completion, in the Hall of the FMIPA Postgraduate Building, Sudirman Campus, Udayana University.

This guest lecture featured a distinguished speaker, Ir. Ngakan Nyoman Kutha Krisnawijaya, S.Kom., M.Kom., Ph.D., an alumnus of the Informatics Department (formerly known as the Computer Science Study Program) from the class of 2006. He currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Tourism at the National Education University (UNDiknas) Denpasar. He delivered a presentation entitled "Advancing Informatics Research in the Age of Digital Transformation."

This event aimed to broaden the insights of academics, students, and the general public regarding the development of informatics research in the era of rapid digital transformation. With the experience of the presenters in academic and research fields, participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the direction, challenges, and opportunities for the development of informatics science in the present and future.
