FMIPA Udayana University Forms Pharmacy Business Unit Committee to Support PTNBH Status

Bukit Jimbaran, April 30, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held an important meeting regarding the formation of a pharmacy business unit committee. The meeting, led by the Dean of FMIPA, was attended by faculty leaders and coordinators of related study programs.

This step was taken as part of the preparation to welcome Udayana University's status as a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH). FMIPA seeks to strengthen financial and academic independence by establishing a pharmacy business unit that functions as a health service facility as well as a learning and research forum for Pharmacy students.

The meeting agreed to establish a Pharmacy Business Unit that will be managed directly by FMIPA. A proposal for establishing a pharmacy, including budget planning and feasibility studies, will be prepared soon. The initial location is planned to be around the FMIPA Pharmacy Building. The Head of the Business Unit and the Head of UPIKS will work together in developing operational models and business development strategies to support the vision of FMIPA and Udayana University as PTNBH.
