Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Participates in the Series of Celebrations for Udayana University's 63rd Anniversary
Bukit Jimbaran, Monday, September 29, 2025 – The academic community of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University actively participated in a series of family activities commemorating the 63rd anniversary of Udayana University, held on Friday, September 26, 2025, and Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Bukit Jimbaran Campus. From morning, faculty, educational staff, and students from FMIPA attended enthusiastically and mingled in various activities, from fun walks and group exercise to various traditional and creative competitions. The sense of togetherness was further enhanced when the FMIPA team participated in several competitions such as putting nails into bottles, a "gebongan" (a type of "nail-in-bottle") race, sack races, flower arranging, and tug-of-war.
From this participation, FMIPA achieved impressive achievements by winning second place in the "putting nails into bottles" competition and second place in the "gebongan" (a type of "gebongan" or "nail-in-bottle") competition. This participation reflected the solidarity, creativity, and sportsmanship of the FMIPA family. In addition to its achievements in competitions, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) has also received academic recognition. Apt. Made Ary Sarasmita, S.Farm., M.Farm.Klin., a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, was awarded the Udayana Impact Award in the 2025 Udayana University LPPM Premier League (LULPPM) Category. This award was presented in commemoration of Udayana University's 63rd Anniversary on Monday, September 29, 2025, in the category of "Most and Most Productive Journal Article Publication Citations in Scopus-Indexed Journals (WOS).
The award certificate was presented directly by the Rector of Udayana University, accompanied by the Special Staff to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology for Foreign Cooperation, and the Chair of the Udayana University Academic Senate. These achievements underscore the FMIPA's role in supporting the improvement of Udayana University's academic quality while strengthening the togetherness of the academic community. Through its involvement in the 63rd Anniversary, FMIPA is not only present to celebrate the university's anniversary, but also to strengthen its commitment to academic development, research, and the preservation of the values ??of togetherness and culture.
