After the Implementation of STIC 2024, the Core Committee and Scientific Commission Team Hold an Evaluation Meeting and Follow-up on the Publication of Conference Output

Bukit Jimbaran, Thursday, November 21, 2024 - located in the Senate Meeting Room, 1st Floor of the FMIPA Dean Building, Udayana University Campus Jimbaran Bali, the Core Committee and the Scientific Commission Team of the 3rd Science and Technology International Conference (STIC) held an evaluation meeting for the implementation of the conference and follow-up to the publication of the participants' manuscripts. This meeting was led directly by the Head of the Research and Community Service Unit (UP2M) FMIPA Udayana University Prof. Ni Luh Putu Eswaryanti, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D who is also the coordinator of the Scientific Commission Team.


In this meeting, an evaluation of the implementation of STIC was carried out, mainly related to the scientific commission field, namely the results of the abstract review of the participants. The evaluation was also aimed at the submission process of the results of the abstract improvements and the quality of the participants' abstracts. "In general, the abstracts of STIC participants have improved in quality, both in terms of presentation and suitability with the template and the use of English," said Prof. Ni Luh Putu Eswaryanti, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. The coordinator of the scientific commission team also emphasized that in the future it is necessary to create a more rigid abstract template, namely containing instructions on substantial information points that must be presented by participants. "In addition, participants also need to be provided with examples of abstracts that meet the committee's criteria," he said.


Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the STIC 2024 Committee, I Putu Tedy Indrayana, S.Pd., M.Sc added that there are 68 manuscript titles that are planned to be published in each of the participant's chosen destination journals. Meanwhile, the STIC Committee has collaborated with 19 national journals accredited and indexed by SINTA Dikti. There are 4 physics journals that are the participants' choices, namely 1) Journal of Theory and Application of Physics (S3), 2) Positron Journal: Scientific Periodical Physics (S2), 3) Indonesian Physical Review (S2), and Udayana Physics Bulletin (S3). There are 4 biology journals that are the participants' choices, including 1) Simbiosis Journal (S4), 2) Metamorphosis Journal (S3), 3) Advances in Tropical Biodiversity and Environmental Sciences (S3), and 4) Udayana Biology Journal (S3). There is a chemistry journal, namely the Udayana Chemistry Journal (S3). There are 3 mathematics journals, namely 1) Udayana Mathematics Journal (S4), 2) Mathematics and Science Education Journal, and 3) Mathematics E-journal (S4). There are 2 pharmaceutical journals, namely 1) Udayana Pharmacy Journal (S4) and 2) Pharmaceutical Science and Application Journal (S5). Finally, there are 2 informatics journals, namely 1) Udayana Computer Science Journal (S4) and 2) Udayana Electronic Computer Science Journal (S5). "All manuscripts that have been collected will then be summarized and a cover letter will be made stating that the manuscript has been disseminated at STIC 2024. The cover letter is addressed to each journal manager of the participant's destination. The submission process, review, and decision on acceptance of the manuscript (acceptance for publication) are entirely the rights of the journal manager based on the provisions applicable to each journal," explained the Chairperson of the Committee.
