“Farewell Event for Prospective Graduates for the October Period: Celebrating the Success of the August and September 2024 Graduation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University”

Denpasar, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a Graduation Farewell event for the October 2024 period. The event, which took place in the Nusantara Room, Agrokomplek Building, 4th Floor, was attended by various important officials, including the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, accompanied by the vice deans, senate chair, heads of study programs, as well as the Heads of UPIKS Units, UP2M, Head of Administration, and FMIPA sub-coordinators.


This event was held as a form of celebration for the graduation of 164 students who have successfully completed their studies and will attend the 163rd and 164th Graduation of Udayana University. Of the total graduates, 146 people were declared to have graduated on August 30, while 18 others graduated on October 9.


In the details of achievements, there are five people who have successfully earned a Master's degree, with one person from the Chemistry Master's Study Program and four people from the Biology Master's Study Program. In addition, the number of graduates of the Pharmacist Professional Program reached 118 people, while the number of S1 graduates was 41 people, consisting of various disciplines, including S1 Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, and Informatics.


The average Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA) of the graduates showed very satisfying results, with the GPA for S2 reaching 3.9, the Professional Program 3.89, and S1 3.7. The best graduates for each period were also announced in this event. For the period of August 30, Sister Rai Janaki Maharani, S.Si. from the Biology Bachelor's Study Program won the predicate with honors with a GPA of 3.95 and a study period of 8 semesters. While for the September period, Brother Dewa Nyoman Agung Adipurwa Mahandiri, S.Kom. from the Informatics Undergraduate Study Program achieved a very satisfying predicate with a GPA of 3.91 and a study period of 9 semesters.


This Lepas Kesan event was a moment full of emotion and pride, marking the academic achievements of the graduates who are ready to step into the professional world with the knowledge and experience they have gained during their studies at Udayana University.
