UNUD Master of Informatics Students Achieve International Achievement at IEEE ISCT 2025

Denpasar, Thursday, September 18, 2025 – Students from the Master of Informatics Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, have once again achieved a proud achievement. Four students, Anak Agung Ngurah Wisnu Wardana, Sidin Rahman, I Putu Dody Wiraandryana, and I Putu Wira Adi Suartana, won third place in the Poster Competition at the 2025 IEEE International Symposium on Consumer Technology (ISCT 2025), held at the Prime Plaza Hotel, Sanur, Bali, from September 16–18, 2025.

This prestigious competition is part of an international symposium organized by the IEEE Consumer Technology Society, a global professional organization focused on the development of consumer technology. This year, ISCT brought together researchers, academics, and practitioners from various countries to share the latest research and innovations in consumer technology.

This achievement is even more special because the student team's work, themed "Optimizing Mobile-Based Balinese Script Keyboards to Support IDN Integration, Unicode Standardization, and Digital Cultural Preservation," focuses on preserving Balinese script through digital technology. This work is a clear demonstration of the contribution of young academics in bridging local cultural heritage with modern technological advances.

This achievement is inseparable from the guidance of our Master of Informatics lecturer, Cokorda Pramartha, Ph.D., who continues to encourage students to produce innovative and impactful work. "This achievement demonstrates that our students are capable of competing not only nationally but also internationally. This motivates the entire academic community to continue their work," he said.
