UKMPPAI 2026 National Seminar and Try Out: Equipping Prospective Pharmacists to Face UKOMNAS PDPA

The Pharmacy Student Association (HIMAFARMA) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University once again held the 2026 National Seminar and UKMPPAI Try Out as a commitment to improving the readiness of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional Students for the National Competency Examination for Pharmacist Professional Students (UKOMNAS PDPA). The event, themed "Be More Than Ready: Maximizing the Competence of Prospective Pharmacists," was held online on June 13–14, 2026.

The series of activities included the National Seminar, the UKMPPAI Try Out, and the Preparation Class Road to UKMPPAI, featuring experienced speakers and mentors in the pharmaceutical field. Participants received training on competency exam strategies, CBT simulations via digital platforms, and interactive discussion sessions to prepare them for the UKOMNAS PDPA.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., and was also attended by the heads of the Pharmacy Study Program and the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, student advisors, and HIMAFARMA administrators. The seminar and tryout attracted 244 participants from 13 universities across Indonesia, reflecting the high enthusiasm of students in preparing to become professional and competent pharmacists.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University hopes to encourage the development of aspiring pharmacists who are not only prepared for the national competency exam but also possess the qualities, confidence, and competitiveness to contribute to healthcare services in Indonesia.
