Udayana University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Physics Students Win Bronze Medal at the 2nd SINEC 2026 National Event

Badung, Bali – Students from the Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Udayana University, have once again achieved a proud achievement. The Physics student team brought honor to their alma mater by winning a Bronze Medal in the 2nd Sustainable Innovation National Essay Competition (2nd SINEC) 2026, a national-level scientific essay competition organized by Cakap Riset.

This competition provides a platform for students from various universities in Indonesia to express innovative ideas oriented towards sustainable development. The competition was held online in two waves, May 16–17, 2026, and June 27–28, 2026, showcasing the best work from students across Indonesia.

The Bronze Medal achievement was achieved thanks to solid teamwork, creativity, and strong analytical skills in developing innovative ideas. The Physics student team from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University that won the award consists of:

- Ni Komang Yuni Chalwa

- Naila Haya Syabina

- Aisyah Kartika Putri

Throughout the preparation and implementation of the competition, the team received guidance and mentoring from Dewa Ngurah Yudhi Prasada, S.Si., M.Si., the Physics Study Program supervisor, who consistently provided guidance in the preparation of their scientific papers and strengthened the substance of their innovations.

This success is clear evidence that Udayana University's FMIPA students possess high competence, competitiveness, and a spirit of innovation, producing high-quality scientific papers at the national level. This achievement also reflects Udayana University's FMIPA commitment to supporting the development of student potential through academic activities, research, and innovation that positively impact society.
