Udayana University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Encourages Innovation and a Moral Work Culture through the Presentation of the 2026 CPNS Basic Training Actualization

Jimbaran, June 10, 2026 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a meeting to present the results of the 2026 Civil Servant Candidate Basic Training (Latsar) in Computer Laboratory 2, third floor of the FMIPA Dean's Building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. The event was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Administrative Coordinators, educational staff, and all civil servant candidates who had completed the Latsar series.

The event began with a presentation of various actualization programs developed by civil servant candidates from the Informatics, Biology, Mathematics, Pharmacy, and Physics study programs. The various innovations introduced focused on improving the quality of academic services, digital transformation, institutional governance, strengthening learning, and developing student and lecturer support systems.

Some of the innovations presented included SIMONITAMA, a digital-based student final project monitoring system from the Informatics Study Program; PLASMID, a digital seminar and information service platform for the Biology Study Program; optimization of the METAMORFOSA Journal website migration; development of Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-based Semester Learning Plans in the Mathematics Study Program; and ASMARA, a program for analyzing and mitigating student mental health risks in the Pharmacy Study Program. Furthermore, the SIGMA Dosen innovation to support lecturer career management, SIGMA-LMS to strengthen digital learning, and NABALA as a digital-based learning medium for Physics students were introduced.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University emphasized that the results of the Latsar actualization should not stop at the training stage but should become sustainable innovations that have a real impact on faculty development. All presented programs will be mapped, monitored, and evaluated for implementation in the coming semester to ensure their sustainability and benefits for the academic community.

The Dean also encouraged all participants to utilize the resulting innovations as part of efforts to realize the Integrity Zone and improve the quality of public services within the FMIPA. Study Program Coordinators are expected to assist and monitor the development of innovations designed by prospective civil servant candidates (CPNS) in their respective work units.

On the same occasion, the Coordinator of the Pharmacy Study Program, I Putu Eka Indra Setiawan, expressed his appreciation to all CPNS Latsar participants for their dedication and innovations. He emphasized that Latsar is not the end of the learning process, but rather the beginning of continued work, innovation, and contribution to supporting the achievement of performance targets and the advancement of the institution.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University demonstrated its commitment to building an innovative, adaptive, and service-oriented work culture, while also encouraging the development of various creative solutions that can support the transformation of higher education and improve the quality of academic services within the faculty.
