Udayana University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Attends the Governance for New Leaders Program

Nusa Dua (Bali) September 8-13, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University also attended the Polkadot Blockchain Academy – Governance for New Leaders event which took place in Nusa Dua, Bali on September 8–13, 2025. On this occasion, FMIPA of Udayana University was represented by Cokorda Rai Adi Paramartha, S.T., M.M.S.I, Ph.D., Ida Ayu Gde Suwiprabayanti Putra, S.Kom., M.T., I Made Satria Bimantara, S.Kom., M.Kom. The presence of the FMIPA team is a form of commitment to following the latest technological developments, especially in the field of blockchain-based governance which has great potential to support transparency, accountability, and innovation in educational institution governance.

This program presents a number of international experts such as Dr. Filippo Franchini, Dr. Primavera de Filippi, Lovisa Björna, and Nathalie Boyke. During the five-day event, participants received material on an introduction to blockchain, the mechanisms of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), governance design, competency frameworks in blockchain governance, and discussions on blockchain public value, regulation, and technology adoption in the public sector. The involvement of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University in this event is expected to strengthen international networks and open up opportunities for collaboration in research and technology development, particularly related to the application of blockchain in education, research, and public services.
