Surakarta, July 18-20, 2025 - Students of the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, achieved a brilliant achievement by winning third place nationally in the 2025 Medical Scientific Sebelas Maret Public Poster Competition (MEDSMOTION), held at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta. This prestigious competition attracted over 200 teams from 52 universities across Indonesia and carried the theme "Endocrine and Metabolism Nexus: Decoding Complexity, Unlocking Clinical Breakthroughs."

The Unud Pharmacy team, led by Komang Rian Widiantara, along with fellow team members Dewa Gede Wira Putra Artawan and I Dewa Ayu Widya Candraswari, advanced to the final round after passing a rigorous selection process in the Public Poster category. With the subtheme "Revolutionizing Rehabilitation and Long-term Management of Endocrine and Metabolic Diseases on a National and Global Scale," they raised important educational issues about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a disease that remains largely unknown but has a significant impact on women's health.

Through in-depth literature research and communicative poster design, the team was able to present a strong educational work, both in terms of scientific data and social impact. This success was due to the guidance of their lecturer, Dr. apt. Eka Indra Setyawan, S.Farm., M.Sc., and demonstrated the capacity of Udayana Pharmacy students to compete at the national level while simultaneously bringing honor to the university.

This achievement serves as inspiration and motivation for other Udayana University students to continue actively participating in prestigious scientific events to contribute to the development of science and public health education.
