Udayana University Holds the 4th Science and Technology International Conference (STIC) 2025
Denpasar, October 27-28, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University) once again held the 4th Science and Technology International Conference (STIC) 2025, held for two days, October 27-28, 2025, at the Grand Santhi Hotel, Denpasar. This international conference, now in its fourth year, carried the theme "Building Sustainable Societies through Scientific and Technological Advancements."
Initiated by FMIPA Unud, this event provides a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners from various countries to disseminate research findings, exchange ideas, and foster global collaborations in the fields of science and technology. This year, STIC 2025 featured two keynote speakers and six invited speakers from renowned USI institutions in Taiwan, Indonesia, France, India, China, and South Africa. The event was held as a hybrid format, combining in-person and online sessions.
In his remarks, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Udayana University, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation to the entire organizing committee for their hard work and dedication in ensuring the success of this annual international conference. "This conference reflects our shared commitment to advancing science, encouraging innovation, and strengthening collaboration across disciplines and countries," said the Vice Rector. Furthermore, the Vice Rector encouraged all participants to strengthen international collaboration, which is key to scientific advancement.
The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., stated that this conference has developed into an important international academic forum. "We are very grateful for the holding of this fourth STIC. This conference is an important platform for scientists to share ideas and innovations in science and technology. I believe this forum will be a source of new ideas and breakthroughs that support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and bring positive change for the future," he said.
