"Udayana University Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Holds Open Session for Class 28 Pharmacist Oath Taking"

Bukit Jimbaran, November 5, 2024 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, once again held an Open Session for the Taking of the Pharmacist Oath/Promise. This activity was held for new pharmacists from Class 28 for the November 2024 period, as an official sign of the start of their professional responsibilities in the field of pharmacy. This event took place solemnly in the Widya Sabha Auditorium Building and was attended by the board of directors, lecturers, participants' families, and other invited guests. A total of 118 participants took the oath/promise as pharmacists, as an official sign of the start of their professional responsibilities in the field of pharmacy.


The taking of the oath/promise was attended by the chairman of the session, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D, chairman of PSPA Dr. apt. I Gusti Ngurah Agung Dewantara Putra, S.Farm., M. Sc and representatives of the Bali Provincial Health Office, dr. Putu Camellia, M.Kes. In the speech of the Chair of the session, he expressed the hope that the graduates would be able to maintain their integrity, play an active role in improving public health, and continue to develop in the dynamic world of pharmacy. "As professional pharmacists, you not only bear the responsibility to serve patients, but also contribute to the development of pharmaceutical science and technology," he said. This event was also attended by the Chair of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) Bali.


On this occasion, a special award was given to Sang Ayu Made Dwi Ariesta Putri who won the title of best graduate with the highest Cumulative Achievement Index (IPK) in her class. This achievement is proof of the dedication and hard work that has been taken during the education period, as well as being an inspiration for her colleagues.


With the holding of the Open Session for Taking the Oath/Promise of Pharmacists Class 28, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Udayana University, further confirms its commitment to producing pharmacists who have integrity, are competent, and are ready to face the challenges of the ever-evolving world of health.
