Udayana Physics' Real Action for the Environment: Cleaning Jimbaran Beach for a Sustainable Coastal Ecosystem

Jimbaran, April 19, 2026 – The Physics Study Program at Udayana University once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental conservation through the "Coastal Ecosystem Restoration Efforts Through Trash Clean-Ups" activity held at Jimbaran Beach, Bali.

This community service activity involved the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Dean, lecturers, educational staff, and students from the Physics Student Association (HIMAFI). Together, participants conducted a beach cleanup by collecting various types of trash that could potentially pollute the coastal environment.

The Physics Study Program Coordinator, I Gde Antha Kasmawan, stated that maintaining beach cleanliness is a simple yet important step in supporting the preservation of marine ecosystems and raising public awareness of environmental issues.

Through this activity, the Physics Study Program at Udayana University hopes to foster a culture of environmental awareness and encourage the community to work together to maintain the cleanliness and sustainability of coastal areas for a more sustainable future.
