Udayana Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Welcomes Palangka Raya University's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with a Guest Lecture
Bukit Jimbaran, Wednesday, September 17, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University received a visit from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Palangka Raya University (UPR) . This activity was part of the implementation of the existing collaboration between the two faculties, as stipulated in the Cooperation Agreement.
The visit included a guest lecture held in Lab Room 2, 3rd Floor of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Building, Jimbaran Campus. This guest lecture specifically involved students from the Biology Study Program of Udayana Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, with a guest lecturer from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Palangka Raya University. The material presented covered protozoa, including the characteristics, roles, and scientific implications of these single-celled organisms.
Through this guest lecture, Biology students of Udayana Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences had the opportunity to broaden their academic horizons and engage in direct discussions with speakers from partner universities. This activity is expected to strengthen academic cooperation, particularly in the field of biology, and open up opportunities for future research collaboration between the two institutions.
The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed her appreciation for the visit and collaboration. She emphasized that the synergy between the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at UPR is a crucial step in enriching students' learning experiences and improving the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
