Udayana Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Explores Extension of Cooperation with Bali Police

Denpasar, Friday, October 2, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University visited the Cooperation Section of the Bali Regional Police (Polda Bali) to explore extending the partnership that has been in place since 2021. One form of ongoing collaboration is with the Bali Regional Police's Forensic Laboratory (Labfor), which plays a vital role in supporting student academic, research, and internship activities.

During this meeting, both parties discussed opportunities to expand the scope of cooperation, including enhancing research collaboration, human resource development programs, and practical mentoring for students in the field of forensic science.

The Bali Regional Police's Cooperation Section welcomed the initiative of the FMIPA of Udayana University to continue the strong collaboration. They emphasized their support for strengthening the partnership, providing tangible benefits to both the academic world and the practical needs of law enforcement in Bali.

Through this exploratory visit, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University hopes that the MoU/MoA extension process can be realized soon so that cooperation with the Bali Regional Police, including the Forensic Lab unit, can continue to develop and provide positive contributions to the development of science and services to the community.
